About the Role
WINDER POSITION
The Winder role is a heavy assembly position that focuses on the assembly of coil windings, a vital internal
sub-component of our transformers. In this position, operators would train to set up, wind, and complete Medium Power,
Large Power, and Extra High Voltage coils. Winding types include horizontally and vertically wound Disc coils 1-2 wire
and/or multi wire configurations, Screw coils single and multithread configurations, and or Regulatory Voltage coils in
single layer or double configurations. Operators will learn to bend/manipulate copper conductor leads, induction braze
