About the Role

TAX COMPLIANCE TECHNICIAN

The Tax Compliance Technician is a non-exempt position under the direction of the Tax Audit Manager. The Tax Compliance

Technician enforces the licensure, collection, and payment of city-collected taxes from licensed and unlicensed

businesses and carries out a variety of tax delinquency collection processes. This position performs a range of duties

in a busy tax office from complex tax ordinance analysis to taxpayer consultations to making high volume compliance

calls daily. Expectation of 40 compliance calls in a day. The workload intensifies significantly during peak tax return
