About the Role
divh2Special Materials Machinist/h2pPrototype Fabrication (PF) Division is seeking qualified Special Materials
Machinists to produce components vital to the Labs mission. PF machinists manufacture parts and assemblies by
programming, setting up, and operating precision machine tools. Our machines include manual and CNC mills, lathes, and
EDMs. Machinists work from complex drawings, sketches, and CAD models. Special Materials Machinists utilize
state-of-the-art safety protocols to cut materials with radiation, toxicity, or other hazardous characteristics. The
selected candidate will work in a team environment in both classified and unclassified work areas to provide fabrication
