About the Role
Job Description Summary
The Fiber Handling Engineer will support the GE Aerospace Huntsville site where ceramic matrix composites (CMC's) are
produced. Specifically this role will support processes for producing coated silicon carbide (SiC) based tow for CMC's.
In this role the candidate will be responsible for projects to increase machine OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
through improvements in processes related to the movement of tow comprised of brittle SiC fiber.
