About the Role
REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning,
implementation and evaluation) to provide professional nursing services to patients/residents at home. The nursing
process includes the documentation of human responses to actual or potential health problems in the home health
environment. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions. Collaborates with
patient/resident and family, other inter-professional colleagues, such as physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate
