About the Role

SANITATION WORKER

Performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks in the maintenance and operation of sanitation routes, sanitation

trucks and equipment. Major areas of responsibility include:

* Sanitation: collects and disposes of solid waste from city property and picks up litter from premises.

* Sweeping, washing, painting, and repairing or replacing city property as directed.

* Performing custodial work as required and assigned.
