About the Role

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Procures goods and services for the County using contracts, requests for proposals, invitations for bids, and requests

for quotes through an automated purchasing system. Acts in a lead capacity for the procurement office.

Essential Job Functions:

* Prepares Requests for Proposals, Invitations for Bids, Requests for Quotes and other solicitation documents.

* Conducts pre-bid conferences, bid openings, contract negotiations and post award meetings with contractors and County
