About the Role
Job Summary: Assistant to 1st Pressman and serves as a backup to printing functions in both 1st Pressman and Printing
Feeder tasks. Job Duties/ Responsibilities: • Read order jacket, confirm size, style and copy information. • Sets-up
register and hang/bends plates for job start-up. • Adds ink, water and proper coding to printing equipment. • Verifies
stock is sufficient with regard to quality and quantity during job runs. • Understanding of different tolerances for the
quality of job runs. • Runs and monitors sheet run. • Maintains a clean and safe working area. • Reports defects/safety
concerns of equipment or material to Lead Operator and or Manager. • Assists with the completion of checklist and other
