MOBILE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR 2 HEAVY

This position is a Mobile Equipment Operator 2 Heavy in the Coastal Lafayette Region and reports directly to a

Maintenance Foreman. This is a highly skilled position that requires a high degree of precision and safety in the

operation of large mobile equipment on and off barges, in soft fluid marsh soils, as well as on solid ground; all in the

support of marsh management and erosion control projects as well as facility construction. The incumbent of this

position will operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, draglines, tractors, pile drivers, backhoes, excavators
