About the Role

MATERIALS HANDLER

Help loads and unloads freight on or from trucks or other conveyances and pack and unpack boxes, cartons, and other

containers.

Determines quantities of material on hand by counting, weighing, or measuring.

Identifies freight by piece and item on Government Bills of Lading (GBL), DD1348's, Material Movement Documents (MMD),

Delivery Control List (DCL), requisitions, carrier arrival notices, and other transportation documents.
