About the Role

Under the general direction and supervision of the Superintendent, Physical Plant, the Maintenance Worker I performs

general building maintenance and other various functions independently, collaborates with and supervises student

employees, and assists other plant personnel in carrying out their functions. This position assists with all of the

various types of building and general maintenance, facility construction, grounds maintenance, and equipment/furniture

moving, with an emphasis on dormitory facility maintenance. Responsible for keeping records of materials used,

estimating the time and materials used for jobs. This is a full-time regular position.
