EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN 2

The Emergency Department Technician 2 job exists within the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department Technician 2

is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) who provides direct and indirect patient

care duties under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse or Paramedic. Responsible for patient support,

environmental and supply management functions, as part of the patient care team. The EMT or LNA adheres to Emergency

specialty standards and organizational standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and protocols. The ED Tech II
