About the Role

LAB ASSISTANT 1

The Lab Assistant 1 is responsible for the pre-analytical processing of laboratory specimens AND/OR for the procurement

and preparation of laboratory specimens for testing. Performs simple tasks and tests under direct supervision.

Transcribe laboratory testing orders efficiently and accurately. Ensure specimens are properly identified, labeled,

collected, and stored. Basic specimen processing. Distribute or track specimens to the appropriate areas of the

laboratory for testing. Basic knowledge of specimen collections from individuals of varying ages, diverse physical and
