Experienced Raft Guide/rowing Instructor

About the Role

The RMOC offers guided paddle raft trips on Class III or IV sections of the Arkansas River as well as family floats

(Browns Canyon, The Numbers, Salida Town Run). Opportunities to row include some guided trips and the occasional

overnight. 

Raft Rowing Instructors teach fundamental skills on flatwater and Class II-III venues. They introduce gear, rigging, and

other topics and teach proper biomechanics of rowing and basic raft rescue. Must be a competent rower, experience

instructing in another activity (skiing/snowboarding, kayaking, SUP) is preferred but not required. Courses include
