About the Role

If you’re an EMT who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and thrives in remote environments, Toolik Field Station is

looking for you. As a Seasonal EMT, you’ll be the on-site medical lead—providing both emergency and routine care,

supporting safety across the station, and helping staff and researchers feel confident and prepared in a rugged Arctic

setting. You’ll work closely with station leadership and a consulting medical director, stay on call while on shift,

lead safety trainings, and pitch in where needed to keep station operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for

someone with strong judgment, clear communication skills, a calm and friendly presence, and a willingness to wear a few
