About the Role

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Safety and Security is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to perform

duties needed to maintain a safe and secure environment in the Emergency Department for patients, visitors, and staff at

the University of Iowa Health Care (UI Health Care). Officers considered for this position will be exclusively staffed

in the Emergency Department at UI Health Care.

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff entering the hospital Emergency Department

* Screen patients and visitors entering Emergency Department using appropriate technology and procedures
