About the Role

Description

Performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physician's orders, utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound

equipment. Objectively identifies the presence of or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and

physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including, but not limited to,

Transesophageal echocardiography, Trans-catheter echo guided procedures (location specific), pericardiocentesis, echo

guided myocardial biopsies (location specific), contrast enhanced exams, exercise and pharmacological stress
