About the Role
PHLEBOTOMIST
Summary Objective: The purpose of this position is to obtain capillary and venipuncture blood samples from patients in a
variety of community settings. Perform routine laboratory tests. Collect and update socio-economic and health
information from patients and assists physicians and nurses during examinations. This class works under close to general
supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks.
