BOILER OPERATOR
Summary: Maintains, repairs, inspects and installs steam plant/refrigeration plant, machinery and associated equipment.
Education: Skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education. Licensure: Must obtain a City of
Providence Boiler Operator or Stationary Engineer License. Experience: Three to five years' experience in boiler
operator or stationary engineering field. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Work
requires person to stand or walk most of the day. On average, approximately 75% of the tasks involve lifting weights in
