About the Role

PRN, DAY SHIFT EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN

The ED Tech assists the nursing and medical staff by performing selected procedures and emergent duties in the care of

Emergency Department patients. They also perform duties as Unit Secretary, thus having both a clinical and clerical

aspect to their role. All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and is under the

supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
