About the Role

BENEFIT PROGRAM SPECIALIST I

This is a non-state service position for a Benefit Program Specialist I with a state agency location in Leflore County.

Will work in the Greenwood WIN Job Center and other centers as assigned for the Mississippi Department of Employment

Security (MDES). Will interview and screen participants to determine eligibility for Wagner-Peyser and Workforce

Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) related programs. Will perform employer and community outreach to market all agency

services. Will screen and refer qualified participants to job orders. Will case manage participants of various Federal
