About the Role
Position Summary: Uses holistic approach in provision of medical social services to YKDRH patients and their families to
assist in solving or ameliorating physical, social, emotional, and/or environmental problems which retard or prevent
patients from attaining or retaining optimum health. Social services are provided to people of all ages, from
intra-uterine through elderly. Position Qualifications: MSW (Master of Social Work) from an accredited school of Social
Work One (1) year experience in hospital or health-care setting. State of Alaska license at Master s level (LMSW)
required. Valid Alaska State driver s license is required. Basic knowledge of computer use. Prefer experience working in
